A great use for technology

I haven’t made a quilt in about a decade.  Learning that I am expecting a niece inspired me to sew something pink and soft.  Baby clothes stress me out (all those tiny seams that need to match!), so I decided to make a quilt from the same pattern I used ten years ago.  The only problem is, I don’t remember how my teacher taught me to bind quilts.  The book has no instructions for her method.  What to do?  Google: “bind a quilt.”  I discovered hundreds of quilting how-to videos on YouTube.  Some of them are cheesy or unclear, but overall they’re surprisingly helpful.  The best part is that I can watch certain parts until I feel confident.
