For the sake of shrimp and grits and King Street, I could learn

When I was in South Carolina this summer, lots of things felt right: chatting with friendly people, sampling low-country cuisine (yum!), walking historic streets.  I had to fight myself not to slip into the elegant drawl of Charleston.  The only thing I couldn’t get used to?  Learning not to hate on “SC.”  That would be a struggle.
